We work. We play. We sleep… or do we?

Waking hours easily add up when shift length, overtime, commuting, recreation and family life are accounted for, and all at the expense of sleep. Science has clearly demonstrated that tired workers are impaired workers. They are forgetful, more confrontational, have trouble with complex decision making, are slower to react, use flawed logic and demonstrate poor judgment. Their physical, mental and emotional health suffers. Errors are more frequent, injuries rise and overall work performance suffers.

Today, extended hours and shift work are necessary to meet the demands of an industrialized global economy, but it comes at a cost. The consequences are operational, societal, and personal.

Do you know where your fatigue-related risks are? Do you have the right strategies in place?

If you’re worried about the impact of fatigue at the job site, or simply don’t know where to start, we’re here to help!
